David has over 30 years of experience in brand development, design, advertising, marketing and early stage business development. He joined Giant Shoulders to add his experience in the quest to redesign how agencies and clients collaborate.
The son of a genuine “mad man”, he began working in design and advertising at 18. After successful runs as a creative director at agencies large and small, David established Barnum Design in 1998 with the goal of bringing creative problem solvers closer to brands in transition. The firm evolved over time from a creative services studio into a strategy firm focused on early stage ventures and brand reinvention.
David has worked with brands ranging from TED, Hughes Corporation, Sysomos, Sealy, American Express, Delta, DuPont, and dozens of small and medium businesses.
